I am currently a second year graduate student working with Dr. Bamezai. Fun fact – I also spent my undergraduate years at Villanova so I witnessed not one, but two championship wins. As shown in my abstract, my focus is to study lipid rafts and their role in cell signaling leading to CD4+ T cell proliferation while analyzing the effects of a naturally occurring protein called Klotho in mediating this phenomenon. After graduation, I would like to pursue a career in pharmaceutical industries and develop immunotherapies for various autoimmune diseases and cancers. I like to spend my free time napping, watching movies and roasting Audrey on a daily basis.
